How the calculation works (full formula)
Annual revenue loss = missed calls/week × working weeks × share of interested prospects × closing rate × average order value
Monthly figures = weekly values × (52 ÷ 12); the monthly calculation uses calendar weeks, the annual calculation your working weeks.
- Conservative: prospect rate × 0.5 AND closing rate × 0.5. Together, that comes to an effective ×0.25 of the realistic value.
- Optimistic: both rates × 1.3 (each at most 100 %). Together they effectively give ×1.69.
- The table shows the rates actually used for each scenario.
- Contribution margin (optional) = revenue value × margin percentage
Assumptions: every qualified caller would have been reachable; order values stay constant. Both simplify reality – which is why this is a model calculation, not a promise.
This is an estimate. It is based solely on your inputs and a simplified model calculation: no guarantee, no industry statistics, no promise of success.
